About SubHook
SubHook is a real‑time availability network for softball players and team managers. It replaces messy text threads, Facebook groups, and last‑minute scrambling with a simple, utility‑driven workflow. Players mark when they're available to sub and receive invites from nearby teams. Managers broadcast needs, view available players, and confirm subs instantly. Both sides get a clean, private, no‑noise experience — no social feed, no public posting, no data selling.
What SubHook Collects
- Account basics — email, password (hashed), and optional profile info such as name or position
- Availability status — whether you're open to sub
- Team membership — which teams you manage or play for
- Messages — stored securely and only visible to the participants
- Device data — basic diagnostics for crash reports and performance
All data is stored on secure servers operated by VibeCMD LLC and is used solely to provide the SubHook service.
What SubHook Does Not Collect
- No location tracking — SubHook never tracks your GPS or background location
- No advertising identifiers — no IDFA, no ad SDKs, no tracking pixels
- No social graph scraping — your contacts and social accounts are never accessed
- No third-party analytics that sell or share data
- No background activity monitoring
- No microphone, contacts, or photo library access — unless you explicitly choose to upload a profile photo
What SubHook Never Does
- Never sells your data — to anyone, under any circumstances
- Never shares your data with advertisers
- Never exposes your availability publicly — only visible to managers you interact with
- Never creates public profiles or searchable listings
Data Storage & Security
- Passwords — securely hashed; we never store plaintext passwords
- Messages — stored securely and never used for analytics or training
- Account deletion — you can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Minimal retention — SubHook uses purpose-only storage with no unnecessary data retention

Players toggle availability and appear to managers looking for subs. Your availability is only visible to team managers in your area — never posted publicly.
Broadcast needs, track confirmations, and manage rosters. Roster and confirmation data is only visible to the team's manager.
One-to-one communication for details and confirmations. Messages are stored securely and only accessible to the sender and recipient.
Helps managers fill positions, track who's confirmed, and avoid double-booking. AI processing runs on the server and does not send your data to external AI providers.
App Store Data Practices
SubHook's App Store privacy label accurately reflects the data described in this policy. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and link no data to advertising or tracking purposes.
