Phishing Awareness Mini Training Kit for Small Teams

What it is

A complete, plain English phishing training session for a small team, ready to run in about 15 minutes. No enterprise training platform, no per seat subscription, no boring compliance video. One person reads the script, shows the deck, and the whole team practices spotting fake messages together.

What is inside

• 20 slide training deck (PowerPoint and PDF): what phishing is, what senders are after, six red flags, three made up example messages with the flags called out, the two minute check, what to do if someone clicks, and how to build the reporting habit.
• Spot the Phish poster set (PDF, US Letter, 3 posters): "Spot the Phish" (the six checks), "Before You Click" (the two minute check), and "Clicked Something?" (the no blame response steps). Print and post them where the team works.
• 10 question quiz with answer key (PDF): multiple choice questions that match the deck, with a trainer only answer key that explains each answer in one line.
• The 15 Minute Team Talk script (PDF): a word for word script with timing marks, so whoever runs the session sounds prepared even if they have never taught anything before.

Who it is for

Small business owners, office managers, and team leads who want their staff trained on phishing without buying an enterprise platform. Built for teams where one person wears many hats and training has to fit into a real workday. Works for any small office that uses email, texting, and online banking or payroll.

Please note

This kit is educational material only. It teaches general awareness habits for everyday messages. It is not professional security advice, not a compliance certification, and not a substitute for your own IT support or policies. Every example message in this kit is fictional and was made up for training; any resemblance to a real company or message is coincidental. The kit does not promise or guarantee any specific result; no training can stop every fake message, and this one is honest about that.
