How I Got Into Tech

2009

The Starting Point

I didn't start in IT. I studied Nutrition and Food Science because health mattered to me — but graduating in 2009 meant stepping into a brutal job market that forced me to pivot fast.

2010s

The Pivot

I pivoted into an electronics liquidation company and spent years hands‑on with enterprise hardware — testing, researching, and reselling everything from switches to power supplies. That grind became my gateway into tech.

The Moment

The Opportunity

A simple hardware sale flipped my whole path. A managed IT company asked if I'd ever considered joining their world. I stepped in—and never stepped out.

"Everything I've built since then — every skill, every system, every role — came from that moment where someone saw potential and I decided to run with it."

I Built VibeCMD.net

In 2025, I launched VibeCMD.net as a side project to explore AI-assisted web development, offer IT consulting, and generate some extra income.

It started as an experiment. Now it's a full-featured platform with multiple landing pages, live web hosting infrastructure, and real client work.

I designed and built everything myself—using AI tools like Claude Opus and GitHub Copilot, modern CSS, PHP backends, and production hosting. It's proof that I don't just consume technology—I build with it.

I'm a devoted father to two amazing girls—a 9-year-old and a 6-year-old. They're the center of my world.

T1D Parent

My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes. Managing her care 24/7 has made me sharp under pressure and deeply empathetic.

Crypto Hobbyist

I run crypto miners at home. It keeps me connected to cutting-edge infrastructure and power management.

DIY Lab Builder

I build and maintain my own home lab: servers, networking gear, virtualization. It's where I learn and grow.
