An Open Letter to Mark Zuckerberg and Meta Platforms
Dear Mr. Zuckerberg,
My name is Kevin Cunningham. I'm a Cloud Engineer with 14 years of enterprise IT experience, including 6 years in healthcare technology at Siemens Healthineers supporting oncology software.
More importantly, I'm the father of a 9-year-old girl with Type 1 Diabetes.
Every day, I manage her CGM alerts, count her carbs, adjust her insulin, and wake up at 3 AM when her glucose drops. I know what T1D families need because I AM a T1D family.
I've designed LinkLoop - a community app that connects Type 1 Diabetics and their caregivers through real-time CGM sharing, supply tracking, and community support.
Meta has everything needed to build this: 3 billion users, Facebook health groups, WhatsApp for caregivers, Meta Quest for education, and Meta AI for insights.
I'm not asking for funding. I'm asking to partner. Let me join your team as a Design Consultant. I'll bring the vision, the expertise, and a real beta tester who will tell us exactly what works.
8.7 million people with T1D are waiting for this app. Let's build it together.
Sincerely,
Kevin Cunningham
